Emergency Medical Assistance Program

Food, lodging, or transportation costs incurred by the patient or the patient’s escort during emergency medical treatment are eligible to be reimbursed by Tebughna Foundation. Tebughna Foundation will reimburse up to $1,000 for medical costs NOT covered by IHS, Medicaid, insurance, or other entity.

The Emergency Medical Assistance Program will assist shareholders and tribal members in the event of an emergency medical situation that causes the patient or patient’s escort to travel from their hometown. This program is not intended to assist with non-emergency or regular scheduled medical appointments.

Eligibility

Only Shareholders of Tyonek Native Corporation and Tribal Members of The Native Village of Tyonek are eligible to be funded under this program.

All events funded by Emergency Medical Assistance Program are subject to available funds at the time of request.
